Your Responsibilities
Development of embedded software in the fields of power electronics, communication systems, operational control, and related areas
Low-level, hardware-oriented programming in C
Design and development of software architectures
Model-based software development
Planning and execution of software testing activities (SIL, MIL, HIL)
Collaboration within an international and interdisciplinary team
Support for system commissioning and device testing
Opportunity to take on coordination responsibilities within software projects
Your Profile
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Experience in developing embedded control applications in C
Knowledge of various DSP and microcontroller (μC) platforms as well as real-time systems
Independent working style, commitment, creativity, and strong teamwork skills
Good written and spoken English skills
Knowledge of power electronics and/or various communication interfaces is an advantage
Experience with model-based software development is desirable
Experience with tools for automated and manual software testing is an advantage
Knowledge of development processes such as V-Model, SPICE, or CMMI is beneficial
Knowledge of control engineering is an advantage
Experience in FPGA programming is desirable
