Digital Marketing Specialist — SiteMaxi (Sri Lanka)

We’re a Canadian digital growth agency opening our Sri Lanka operation, and this is the first marketing hire here. You’d own our own brand presence from zero and run social and paid campaigns for our clients.
What you’d actually do
Build SiteMaxi’s Facebook, Instagram and TikTok from nothing, strategy, content, publishing, growth. Design the brand materials we use online. Write our Digital Brand Playbook so the whole team can produce on-brand work without asking. Run social media and Meta/TikTok ad campaigns for our clients, and report on what the numbers actually mean.
You’ll report directly to the founders and work closely with our sales, operations and tech teams.
What we’re looking for
Two or more years running social and paid campaigns, for a brand or an agency. You can produce the work yourself, short-form video, carousels, ad creative, captions that sound like a person wrote them. You know your way around Meta Business Manager and TikTok Business Centre. You can explain a CPL to a client without jargon.
More than the tools: we want someone who takes ownership. The first six months here are a blank page.
The terms
Salary depends on experience : tell us what you’re looking for and show us work that justifies it. There’s a performance-based increase built into the role from day one, which we’ll walk you through.
8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Mostly remote, with days at our Rajagiriya office when the work calls for it. Three-month probation.
