Job Summary
Prime Agro Food Products is looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to manage electrical maintenance, troubleshoot electrical faults, ensure the smooth operation of plant machinery, and maintain electrical safety standards across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery, motors, pumps, control panels, and electrical systems.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and minimize machinery downtime.
Maintain and inspect electrical panels, wiring, cables, circuit breakers, contactors, relays, and other electrical components.
Monitor and maintain electrical systems related to production machinery, conveyors, dryers, blanchers, boilers, and packing equipment.
Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Maintain records of electrical maintenance, breakdowns, spare parts, and preventive maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, applicable standards, and company policies.
Monitor electricity consumption and identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency.
Supervise electrical installation, repair, and modification work carried out by technicians or contractors.
Ensure proper functioning of electrical control systems, sensors, PLCs, HMIs, and related automation equipment, where applicable.
Maintain the availability of critical electrical spares and coordinate procurement when required.
Support electrical inspections, audits, and other plant maintenance activities.
Educational Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Relevant industrial electrical maintenance experience is preferred.
Required Skills
Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of industrial motors, electrical panels, wiring, and control circuits.
Understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Basic knowledge of PLCs, sensors, VFDs, and automation systems.
Ability to maintain technical records and maintenance reports.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
