OmniKair Growth Intern
Location: San Jose, CA / Remote
Type: Part-time, 15–20 hrs/week, 6 months, with a path to full-time
About OmniKair
OmniKair builds conversational AI for independent healthcare practices. Our agents answer patient calls and messages, handle booking and reminders, and escalate what needs a human. Our two lead verticals are dental and veterinary, where most practices are small, run on phones and paper-heavy front desks, and have been slow to adopt software. We sell through managed service providers (MSPs) who already serve these practices.
The Role
You'll help us reach dentists, vet clinics, and the MSPs that serve them, and you'll tell us which segments and channels are worth our time. The work splits between running programs and doing market research.
Programs
Build and grow the MSP partner program: partner outreach, co-marketing kits, and partner webinars.
Run dental and veterinary campaigns: landing pages, email sequences, local outreach, LinkedIn, and practice-association events.
Produce content that practice owners trust, such as short demos, case studies, and comparison pages.
Track every lead source so we know what produces demos and signed clinics.
Research
Size the market in each vertical: number of practices, PMS/PIMS systems in use, phone volume, and spend on front-desk tools.
Map competitors and how they position, price, and sell through channels.
Interview dental and vet practice managers and MSP owners to learn what gets a yes and what stalls a deal.
Test messages and channels with small experiments, then report results with a clear recommendation.
First 90 Days
Days 1–30: Audit current web, content, and partner materials. Map the dental and veterinary landscape, including PMS platforms and the MSPs that serve them.
Days 31–60: Launch one MSP partner program and one practice campaign with tracking in place. Complete 15 or more practice and MSP interviews.
Days 61–90: Deliver a go-to-market recommendation: which segment and channel to prioritize, a budget split, and a six-month program calendar.
Who You Are
Enrolled in or recently finished a degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Comfortable with spreadsheets, a CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot experience is a plus), and basic analytics.
Able to write clearly and turn messy research into a short recommendation.
Interested in healthcare, veterinary, or small-business software. Prior experience in any of these is a plus, not a requirement.
Self-directed and willing to run experiments that might not work.
