Role Description :
The Director / Head - Supply Chain (API Industry) will lead end-to-end supply chain operations for the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients manufacturing facility in Nanjangud. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for demand planning, inventory optimization, production planning alignment, and timely order fulfillment to global customers in regulated markets. The position oversees procurement of raw materials, vendor management, logistics coordination, and distribution to ensure consistent availability of APIs while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The Director / Head will collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, finance, and commercial teams to drive operational excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement. The role includes building and mentoring a high-performing supply chain team, implementing digital and analytical tools, and supporting strategic initiatives such as capacity expansion and new product introductions.
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced professional to lead end-to-end sourcing and supply chain operations for API Raw Materials, KSMs, Intermediates, Solvents, and Packaging Materials, with an annual procurement spend of ₹400+ Crores.

Ideal Profile:
✔ 18+ years of experience in Pharma/API Supply Chain & Procurement
✔ Strong exposure to strategic sourcing and contract negotiations
✔ Experience managing procurement budgets exceeding ₹400 Crores
✔ Leadership experience in driving high-performing supply chain teams
