Technical Learning Consultant - NX Ship Design - Remote USA

As part of a zone or country Enterprise Learning and Adoption team, work with Professional Services and project management to deliver high-quality Learning and Adoption Services and end user training. Contribute to the delivery of Enterprise Learning and Adoption programs in agreed DI domains that enable customers to minimize user adoption risks and to achieve superior adoption of the Digital Enterprise solution.
Deliver standard and custom instructor-led trainings in center, at customer site or as distance learning. Applies aspects of Adult Learning strategies and Siemens Learning and Adoption best practices to address the needs of Customer user communities. In collaboration with the lead Learning Architect, follows the Learning and Adoption work stream of customer programs deploying multiple Siemens DI products within a single domain (for example: DI, STS, DER) to multiple locations.
Actively participates in and contributes to the global "Learning" Community of Practice and contributes to the definition, development and curation of the Siemens Learning and Adoption best practices. Works under self-management on routine assignment/projects and light supervision on new assignment/projects. Works on projects/assignments of basic to moderate scope.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in person and online NX Ship Design training classes to our customers.
Demonstrate critical thinking, command of specific technical subject matter, ability to learn new technologies very quickly, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in the simplest possible terms (relative to the audience)
Stimulate interest and enhance learner understanding through appropriate anecdotes, stories, analogies and humor. Use activities that allow learners to review and apply content at appropriate intervals.
Apply Adult Learning strategies and Siemens Learning and Adoption best practices to address the needs of customers user communities.
Actively participates in and contributes to the global "Learning" Community of Practice and contributes to the definition, development and curation of the Siemens Learning and Adoption best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position
Required: 5-10 years of experience in design, development and delivery of training, and blended-learning solutions
Strong hands-on experience using NX Ship Design, in a Design role, is absolutely required as this person will need to be able to answer many complex question from Ship Designers using NX.
Strong preference for recent experience as a Trainer, in addition to the above (But not required)
