Contract Management Manager / Claims Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Management Manager / Claims Specialist to oversee contract administration, manage contractual risks, and handle project-related claims. The ideal candidate will have strong contractual knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to protect business interests while ensuring compliance and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiation, execution, and administration.
Identify contractual risks, assess potential liabilities, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Prepare, review, and manage claims related to variations, extensions of time (EOT), delays, and additional costs.
Monitor contractual obligations, project milestones, and compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and legal teams to resolve contractual issues and disputes.
Prepare contractual correspondence, claim submissions, reports, and supporting documentation.
Provide strategic advice to management on contract interpretation, risk management, and claims resolution.
Requirements
Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in contract management, claims management, or a similar role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
Strong knowledge of contract terms, variation orders, EOT claims, delay analysis, and dispute resolution.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, and stakeholders effectively.
Detail-oriented, commercially minded, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
