Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in Noida. The Technical Sales Engineer will engage with industrial and commercial clients to understand their electrical power distribution and control requirements, and propose appropriate technical solutions from GECPL’s portfolio. Daily activities include preparing and delivering technical proposals and quotations, conducting site visits, coordinating with design and installation teams, and providing pre- and post-sales technical support. The role involves collaborating closely with engineering, project, and service teams to ensure accurate solution design, timely execution, and customer satisfaction. The Technical Sales Engineer will also manage sales pipelines, maintain customer relationships, and contribute to business development activities and market feedback.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess Technical Sales and Sales skills for identifying customer needs, presenting solutions, and managing opportunities from enquiry to closure.
Candidates should possess Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to translate technical requirements into solutions and provide ongoing assistance during and after implementation.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for interacting with customers, preparing documentation, and coordinating with internal teams.
Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred, with understanding of power distribution, control panels, and industrial electrical systems.
Experience in industrial or infrastructure projects, site visits, and interaction with engineering and procurement teams is an advantage.
Ability to read technical drawings (e.g., AutoCAD), prepare technical proposals, and work according to relevant electrical standards and safety practices.
Strong problem-solving attitude, customer focus, and willingness to work on-site in Sadar and travel to client locations as needed.
