Role Description The Travel Agent will work on a contract basis in a remote capacity, supporting clients with end-to-end trip planning and execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling reservations, organizing travel itineraries, coordinating flights, accommodations, and car rentals, and managing changes or cancellations as needed. The role involves responding to customer inquiries, providing destination information, recommending tour packages, and offering tailored travel solutions that align with client expectations and budget. The Travel Agent will also identify upselling opportunities, support sales campaigns, and maintain accurate records of bookings and customer interactions. The customer questions and quotes inquiries will come through different channels, such as email, whatsapp, facebook and instagram, the candidate should be familiar with all of them. You will be working from home so you should be able to self organize.
Qualifications
Strong reservations and travel arrangements skills, including quoting flights, accommodations, and tours
Demonstrated customer service capabilities with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and client satisfaction
Sales skills with the ability to promote travel packages
Prior experience as a travel agent or in a related travel/tourism role is highly beneficial
Prior experience with selling Egypt or Middle East as a travel destination
Proficiency with travel booking systems and standard office software
Effective written and verbal communication skills in EU Portuguese; additional languages are a plus
Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work independently in a remote setting
