Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified professional to join the Data Science Team and support analytics, automation, and reporting initiatives within healthcare operations. The role requires a strong foundation in coding, healthcare claims and billing processes, payment integrity, and data analysis tools.
Key Responsibilities
Apply coding and data analysis skills to support the requirements of the ED, EM and SDS departments.
Analyze claims processes in accordance with client guidelines.
Support denial management activities through data analysis and reporting.
Apply knowledge of CMS and pricing concepts for Medicare and Commercial plans.
Review and analyze medical billing processes.
Support Payment Integrity initiatives by identifying and analyzing relevant data patterns.
Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs using Excel, Power BI and SQL.
Identify opportunities to use AI automations to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
Required Qualifications
Coding Certification: Mandatory.
Coding Knowledge: 2–4 years of experience for the ED, EM and SDS departments.
Domain Knowledge: Experience or working knowledge of the following areas:
Claims processing as per client guidelines.
Denial management.
CMS and pricing concepts applicable to Medicare and Commercial plans.
Medical billing processes.
Payment Integrity processes.
Technical Skill Set
Excel
AI automations
Power BI
SQL
Preferred Profile
The ideal candidate combines coding knowledge with healthcare domain expertise and the ability to transform operational data into meaningful insights. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple healthcare processes are essential for success in this role.
