🏥 Position: Optometrist
Qualification
B.Optom / Diploma in Optometry from a recognized institution.
Relevant optometry qualification and clinical skills required.
Experience
Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
Experience in an eye hospital, optical centre or ophthalmology clinic will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct preliminary eye examinations and vision assessments.
Perform refraction and determine refractive errors.
Assess visual acuity and assist in spectacle prescription.
Operate optometry equipment and maintain examination records.
Assist ophthalmologists during patient evaluation when required.
Educate patients about eye care, contact lens use and vision correction.
Identify cases requiring specialist consultation and refer appropriately.
Maintain equipment hygiene and follow clinical protocols.
Candidate Profile
Strong knowledge of refraction and basic optometry procedures.
Good communication and patient-handling skills.
Professional, patient-friendly and responsible approach.
Ability to work effectively with ophthalmologists and clinic staff.
Candidates available for immediate joining preferred.
