Chief of Staff

Chief of Staff, AI & Cloud Engineering — The Cloud Girl
I’m hiring my first Chief of Staff at The Cloud Girl. I spent 15 years at Google and Microsoft making complex technology easy to understand through visual storytelling. Now I advise companies for their product storytelling, teach courses on Maven, Wharton Business School and University of Pennsylvania, write books, and create content for my commnityu of 350K+ developers across Instagram, linkedin, Youtube and Substack. I need a partner who can build alongside me.
You won’t know every field I work in. What matters is how quickly you learn, the questions you ask, and whether you can think from first principles.
What you’ll do
Act as my right hand on strategy, priorities, and execution across advisory work, courses, books, and content
Build storytelling plan for brands we partner with alongside me.
Prepare talks and keynotes with me, from research and narrative to slides and demos
Write and polish blogs, and shape our content on LinkedIn and Instagram
Keep our video production, demo, and brand partnership teams on track: timelines, handoffs, and quality
Build AI and cloud demos and prototypes that bring our stories to life
Turn complex technical ideas into clear narratives for developers, executives, and founders
Work with brands and founders building in AI and cloud, and help evaluate new opportunities
Who you are
High agency. You see what needs to happen and make it happen without waiting to be asked
Endlessly curious. I work with a different brand on a different problem almost every day. If learning something new every day sounds exhausting rather than exciting, this isn’t the role for you
Fast. You’re comfortable moving quickly and making good calls with incomplete information
Operationally sharp. You plan well, run several projects at once, and nothing falls through the cracks
Technical. You understand AI deeply enough to explain it, question it, and build with it. Hands-on cloud or Python experience is a plus
A storyteller and communicator. You write clearly, present well, and can make a dense architecture simple and memorable. A developer relations background is a plus
Great to work with. This matters most. You’re low-ego, direct, and someone people want in the room
