Senior Financial Analyst

Role Description As a Senior Financial Analyst at Marketplace AI, you will be responsible for providing data-driven insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. In this part-time, remote role, you will analyze financial statements, develop forecasts, and support financial planning and budgeting processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to prepare financial reports, interpret performance trends, and identify risks and opportunities. Daily activities include building and maintaining financial models, preparing variance analyses, and contributing to management presentations and dashboards. You will also help refine financial processes and reporting frameworks as the company scales.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge and the ability to interpret and work with Financial Statements.
Candidates should possess robust Financial Planning and Financial Reporting skills for budgeting, forecasting, and period-end reporting.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, including proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and familiarity with business intelligence or analytics tools is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
Experience in a senior or lead analyst role, ideally within technology, marketplaces, or high-growth organizations.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines responsibly.
