About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
Micron is looking for a Program Manager, Source to Pay (S2P) Transformation – AI Workflows steer a multi-year change in the Source to Pay AI value stream. AI will be key in how tasks are composed and performed. The transformation agenda spans data, processes, platforms, and people to fundamentally reimagine the future of work.
The Lead of the S2P AI Workflow Tower owns the future-state design and end-to-end execution of the AI-first, agentic workflows that sit at the core of Micron's Source-to-Pay transformation. This is a builder-operator role: you will partner directly with the S2P transformation leadership to shape where the AI tower is going, then own the delivery of those workflows into production by orchestrating GPSC (Global Procurement Supply Chain) business teams, IT, and stakeholders across a matrixed program.
This role is central to driving the prioritized agentic flows from requirements and design through build, testing, deployment, and scale. The ideal candidate blends an AI-first mindset with strong business acumen and disciplined program management, and is equally comfortable in an architecture conversation, a business-requirements workshop, and an executive steering review.
Key Responsibilities
Shape the future-state AI workflow strategy. Partner with S2P leadership to define the vision, roadmap, and prioritization for the AI tower's agentic workflows — designing from the future, not from today, and challenging current-state assumptions.
Own end-to-end execution of AI workflows. Drive prioritized agentic flows (e.g., Tactical Sourcing, Accounts Payable, and follow-on flows) from business requirements and design through build, UAT, deployment, and scale into production.
Translate business needs into AI-first solutions. Convert procurement and AP process requirements into agent designs, user stories, and business rules, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose and not over-engineered.
Lead the tower's delivery cadence. Run the tower's weekly connects and represent the tower in the S2P Operating Committee; manage the workplan, backlog, and sprints (Azure DevOps) with clear owners, dates, and milestones.
Partner across GPSC business, IT, and stakeholders. Coordinate business SMEs, IT (Solutions, Enterprise Architecture, Data), AP/Finance, and the Deloitte delivery team to unblock work and keep workflows moving to plan.
Own the tower's RAID and key design decisions. Maintain risks, actions, issues, decisions, and assumptions in the program system of record (Smartsheet); bring well-framed Key Design Decisions (KDDs) to governance with options and a recommendation, not just a problem.
Manage cross-tower dependencies. Proactively surface and resolve dependencies and blockers spanning other towers (Buying Channels, Catalog, Data Management, Contract Compliance, Ariba, Supplier Invoicing) and adjacent programs (S4, Ironclad).
Embed AI governance, security, and compliance. Ensure agentic workflows adhere to Micron's AI governance policy, AI model/system security standards, and SOX/policy controls — designing compliance into the workflow rather than bolting it on.
Drive adoption and operating-model change. Partner on change management, role/responsibility redesign, and training so the human-machine hybrid workforce is operationalized and adopted, not just built.
Report progress and outcomes to leadership. Provide clear status, RAG health, benefits realization, and escalations into Operating and Steering Committees; connect delivery back to the program's North Star KPIs (cycle time, cost per transaction, touchless rate, throughput per agent).
Key Traits & Attributes
AI-first mindset. Genuinely fluent in what modern AI and agentic systems can do; imagines the art of the possible and designs workflows as if building the company new in 2026.
Business acumen. Deep understanding of Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay processes and the commercial levers behind cost, cycle time, compliance, and value.
Program management discipline. Structured operator who plans, tracks, and drives to milestones; comfortable owning RAID, KDDs, backlogs, and sprint delivery in a formal governance model.
Bias for execution. Turns strategy into shipped outcomes; moves decisively and comes to decisions ready, not just to problems.
Systems and technical literacy. Conversant with agent architecture, orchestration, integrations (SAP/Ariba/CLM), and data readiness enough to engage credibly with IT and architects.
Cross-functional influence. Builds alignment across business, IT, finance, external partners, and executives without relying on direct authority.
Executive communication. Communicates crisply to senior stakeholders — reports by exception, escalates proactively, and frames trade-offs clearly.
Comfort with ambiguity. Thrives in a fast-moving transformation where requirements, technology, and the operating model are still taking shape.
Ownership and accountability. Takes end-to-end responsibility for outcomes and closes the loop on commitments.
Pragmatism. Favors fit-for-purpose solutions and avoids unnecessary complexity while keeping a long-term view.
Required Qualifications & Experience
8+ years of progressive experience in program/project management, transformation delivery, or procurement/finance operations, with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Demonstrated experience leading digital, automation, or AI/agentic transformation programs from concept through production deployment.
Strong working knowledge of Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay processes and enabling technologies (e.g., SAP, Ariba, contract lifecycle management).
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and to partner effectively with IT, enterprise architecture, and data teams.
Experience operating within a formal program governance model — managing RAID logs, design decisions, change control, and executive reporting.
Familiarity with AI governance, model/data security, and compliance considerations (e.g., SOX) in an enterprise setting.
Experience leading or coordinating third-party delivery partners and matrixed, globally distributed teams.
Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
Preferred
Hands-on exposure to agentic AI frameworks, orchestration layers, or LLM-based workflow tooling.
PMP, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent program-management certification.
Prior experience in a Center of Excellence or shared-services transformation environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required.
Master's degree (MBA or relevant technical discipline) preferred.
