Role Description This full-time remote Engineering Manager role is responsible for leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary engineering team that supports process solutions for food and beverage clients. The Engineering Manager will oversee project planning and execution, coordinate software and system integration efforts, and ensure that engineering deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. Daily activities include setting technical direction, reviewing designs and documentation, managing timelines and budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders such as operations, quality, and leadership. The role will also involve optimizing processes, identifying opportunities for innovation, and continuously improving tools, workflows, and team practices to support scalable, reliable engineering solutions.
Qualifications
Strong Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills to guide, develop, and support diverse technical teams.
Must have experience in dairy manufacturing
Must have experience in beverage manufacturing
Must have permitting experience
Experience with Software Development and Integration to oversee system architecture, data flows, and implementation across platforms.
Proficient Project Management capabilities, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Background in process engineering or related fields within manufacturing, food and beverage, or industrial environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree is beneficial.
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and regulatory compliance standards.
Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and aligning technical work with business goals and client expectations.
