Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Draftsman/Interior Designer role based in the Greater Delhi Area. The role involves preparing detailed architectural and interior drawings, floor plans, and elevations, as well as 2D and 3D layouts for client presentations and project execution. The Draftsman/Interior Designer will coordinate with senior designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure that drawings align with design concepts and site conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include updating drawings as per feedback, assisting in material selection and specifications, supporting site measurements and inspections, and maintaining organized project documentation. The role also requires collaboration with the design team to refine concepts, support project timelines, and ensure that all deliverables meet quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong drafting and technical drawing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
Candidates should possess interior design skills, including space planning, material and finishes selection, and an eye for aesthetics and detail.
Candidates should possess project coordination abilities, such as interpreting design briefs, collaborating with designers and contractors, and incorporating site measurements into drawings.
Candidates should possess basic knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and standards relevant to interior and architectural work.
Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to receive and implement feedback and present design ideas clearly.
Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in drafting or interior design projects in the Greater Delhi Area is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site full time and conduct regular site visits as required by project demands.
