Recruitment & Onboarding
· Supporting interviewing and selection of candidates where required
· Undertaking reference checks and obtaining clearances (where required) for candidates
· Ensuring credentials and qualifications of Officers are current and complete before start date
· Onboarding of new starters including issuing employment contracts, relevant new starter documentation and scheduling/facilitating inductions.
· Preparing, maintaining and regularly reviewing onboarding materials, including induction presentations, employee welcome packs, uniforms and welcome communications, to ensure they remain current, accurate and relevant.
· Providing considered advice, assistance and support to Managers on the management and administration of the recruitment and onboarding process
· Working with the People and Culture Manager and Talent Acquisition
Coordinator to identify and develop recruitment and onboarding solutions and processes that are conducive to meeting business objectives
HR Administration
·
· Workday HRIS & Employee Lifecycle Support: Provide accurate and timely Workday administration and support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, transfers, promotions and offboarding.
· Maintain employee data integrity, support managers and employees with system queries and transactions, monitor outstanding actions and approvals, resolve or escalate system issues, and work closely with P&C and Payroll to ensure employee changes are accurately and consistently processed.
· Ensuring all employees with temporary visa conditions are captured in Workday and the Visa listing and VEVO checks are completed every 3 months
· Assisting with the management of and enrolment into online learning courses
· • Driving the successful delivery and completion of MSS Security’s Start, Stay, Succeed Retention Program, and providing data to the NSW P&C Manager to support state reporting.
· Preparing employment contracts and associated paperwork as required.
· Manage HR Inbox in consultation with P&C Business Partner.
· • Working with the NSW P&C Business Partner to complete end-of-month reporting, maintain reporting data within systems, and extract data to prepare monthly and quarterly reports, including for MSS Security’s Reward and Recognition Program.
· Facilitation and completion of monthly activities for Casual Conversion checks and requirements, including ensuring final documentation is captured in the filing system.
HR Support
· Supporting managers during disciplinary procedures and interviews
· Reviewing and drafting letters and documentation
· Basic award / agreement interpretation support and advice
· HR Reports and data, including Workday reports
· Developing cooperative, influential and professional relationships with Managers, Operations teams, Supervisors, employees and relevant external stakeholders
· Ensuring relevant professional knowledge is kept current
· Other duties as directed, including the roll-out of projects and new initiatives
