Role Description The System Administrator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, desktops, and other IT infrastructure used across the company’s offices and project sites. Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, managing user accounts and permissions, applying security updates and patches, and ensuring data backups and recovery procedures are in place. The System Administrator will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, provide timely technical support to staff, and collaborate with vendors or service providers as needed. The role also involves maintaining network connectivity, enforcing IT policies, and documenting configurations and procedures to ensure stable and secure operations.
Qualifications
Strong skills in System Administration and Information Technology for managing servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and user issues efficiently.
Experience in Network Administration, including managing routers, switches, firewalls, and LAN/WAN environments.
Knowledge of IT security best practices, backup and recovery, and access control in a business environment.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work on-site, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Experience with construction or project-based organizations, and familiarity with industry-specific software, is an advantage.
