Role Description The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role is responsible for designing and maintaining data models, dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into analytical solutions, and support decision-making across operations, product, and leadership. Daily responsibilities include analyzing complex data sets, validating data quality, optimizing BI tools and processes, and presenting findings in a clear, compelling format. The role also involves mentoring junior analysts, contributing to data governance practices, and continuously improving the company’s analytics capabilities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and proven experience interpreting complex data sets to drive business decisions.
Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling and the ability to design scalable, efficient data structures for reporting and analytics.
Candidates should possess experience building and managing Dashboard solutions that present key performance indicators and trends effectively.
Candidates should possess proficiency with Business Intelligence Tools and platforms used for reporting, visualization, and self-service analytics.
Candidates should possess Business Analysis skills to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one data visualization tool (such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
Experience working with large, complex data sets, preferably in a product or technology-driven organization.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience mentoring or leading analytics projects and familiarity with data governance and quality best practices.
