Role Description The Senior Structural Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Senior Structural Engineer will lead the structural design and analysis of building and infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed calculations, reviewing and guiding structural analysis models, preparing and checking structural drawings, and coordinating closely with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers. The role involves overseeing design documentation, supporting construction teams with technical queries, and participating in design reviews and value engineering exercises. The Senior Structural Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to quality assurance processes, and help implement best practices and innovative structural solutions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering for building and infrastructure projects.
Candidates should possess expertise in Structural Analysis and detailed design Calculations for various structural systems and materials.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating structural drawings and models.
Bachelor’s and master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
minimum 10 years of relevant experience in structural design for commercial, institutional, residential, and/or industrial projects.
Thorough understanding of Indian and international building codes, standards, and best practices.
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Experience mentoring junior engineers and managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
