WE ARE HIRING – MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
Location: Visakhapatnam Port, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh
Minimum Experience: 2 Years
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team for Mobile Harbour Crane (HMC) maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of HMCs.
Carry out hour-based preventive maintenance activities.
Inspect wire ropes for wear, damage, and abnormalities.
Check and maintain greasing lines and lubrication systems.
Inspect and maintain pulleys, bearings, and other mechanical components.
Check hydraulic valves, pressure lines, and hydraulic systems.
Identify mechanical faults and support troubleshooting to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
Perform maintenance of grabs and associated mechanical components.
Eligibility & Required Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in Liebherr or other Mobile Harbour Cranes (HMCs) and grabs.
Practical knowledge of wire ropes, pulleys, bearings, lubrication systems, valves, and hydraulic pressure lines.
Basic spoken proficiency in English, Hindi, and Telugu for effective communication with the operations and maintenance teams.
Commitment to safety and preventive maintenance practices.
