As a Tamil AI Trainer, you may contribute to flexible, remote projects focused on improving the quality, accuracy, and inclusiveness of AI systems. Depending on your skills and project availability, your work may involve annotating data, evaluating search results and AI-generated responses, or creating prompts to improve large language models. You will apply your linguistic expertise, cultural knowledge, and attention to detail to help AI systems better understand language and context. Projects vary in duration, complexity, and scope, offering opportunities to participate according to your availability. This is a talent network registration rather than an active job opening; suitable contributors will be contacted when relevant projects become available.
Accountabilities
Depending on the project, you will contribute to language-focused AI training and evaluation activities that help improve the relevance, reliability, and cultural accuracy of AI-generated content.
Annotate and label text, images, audio, or other data to support AI model training.
Evaluate search results, advertisements, chatbot responses, and AI-generated content for quality, relevance, accuracy, and usefulness.
Create, test, and refine prompts designed to improve the performance of large language models (LLMs).
Review Tamil-language content for linguistic accuracy, natural phrasing, cultural relevance, and appropriate context.
Identify errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues in AI-generated outputs and provide structured feedback.
Apply project-specific guidelines and quality standards consistently across assigned tasks.
Adapt to different project requirements, which may vary in subject matter, complexity, and duration.
Manage assigned tasks independently while meeting agreed deadlines and quality expectations.
Requirements
The ideal contributor is fluent in Tamil, comfortable using digital tools, and interested in language, technology, and AI development. You should be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow instructions while evaluating content objectively.
Native or near-native fluency in Tamil.
Current residence in India, Malaysia, or Sri Lanka; this listing is specifically presented for candidates based in India.
Proficiency in English to understand project instructions and communicate effectively when required.
Comfort using digital tools, online platforms, and web-based applications.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify linguistic, contextual, and factual inconsistencies.
Interest in artificial intelligence, language technologies, and improving AI-generated content.
Ability to follow detailed guidelines and apply evaluation criteria consistently.
Good analytical skills and the ability to assess content for relevance, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness.
Self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
