Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Solar Operations Executive to coordinate the operational activities of rooftop solar projects from initial site assessment through installation, commissioning and customer handover.
The successful candidate will coordinate with customers, technical partners, equipment suppliers and installation teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely and in accordance with agreed specifications, budgets and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Coordination: Coordinate solar projects from site assessment and planning through installation, commissioning and handover.
* Site Assessment: Arrange site visits and coordinate the collection of rooftop measurements, electricity consumption details, photographs and other technical information.
* Vendor Management: Liaise with solar equipment suppliers, contractors and installation teams regarding quotations, material availability and delivery schedules.
* Project Costing: Assist with preparing quotations, bills of materials, project budgets and cost estimates.
* Execution Monitoring: Track project schedules, installation progress, material usage and completion milestones.
* Customer Coordination: Maintain professional communication with customers and provide updates on project status, schedules and requirements.
* Quality and Safety: Coordinate inspections and documentation to ensure compliance with applicable technical standards and electrical safety requirements.
* Documentation: Maintain project records, purchase orders, invoices, site reports, commissioning documents and warranty information.
* After-Sales Support: Coordinate customer handover, warranty claims, maintenance visits and service requests.
Required Qualifications
* Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related technical discipline.
* Basic understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, electrical components and rooftop installations.
* Strong organisational, communication and coordination skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets and basic project documentation.
* Willingness to travel to customer sites across Tiruppur and surrounding industrial areas.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in solar EPC, electrical contracting, renewable energy or project operations.
* Familiarity with solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, cables and balance-of-system components.
* Experience coordinating technicians, vendors or customer projects.
* Understanding of project costing, procurement and commissioning procedures.
Performance Expectations
Performance will be evaluated based on project completion timelines, cost control, documentation accuracy, customer satisfaction, installation quality and coordination effectiveness.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, relevant experience and demonstrated capability.
