About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Want to build the control systems behind the world's digital future?
We're currently working with multiple leading engineering firms across Georgia that are expanding their Controls teams within the rapidly growing mission critical and data center sector.
Why Consider a Move?
The mission critical sector is one of the fastest-growing areas of engineering right now, and Atlanta is at the centre of it.
Work on hyperscale data centers – Design automation, monitoring, and control systems supporting some of the largest and most technically complex facilities in the market.
Work across complex systems – Get involved with chilled water plants, heat-rejection systems, industrial air handling units, intelligent HVAC systems, and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS).
Multiple firms hiring – We're partnered with several companies, meaning we can match you with the right culture, project portfolio, career path, and compensation package.
Data center experience isn't essential!!! – We're also interested in engineers coming from commercial, industrial, manufacturing, process control, HVAC, BAS/BMS, commissioning, or other technically complex environments.
Georgia is booming – Join one of the fastest-growing engineering and technology markets in the Southeast, with major investment and development continuing across the region.
Competitive packages – Opportunities offer strong base salaries, bonuses, benefits, flexible working, and relocation support.
Find the right fit – Rather than being tied to one employer, we're able to discuss multiple opportunities and find the best match for your experience and ambitions.
What We're Looking For
We're speaking with Controls Engineers with experience across a range of backgrounds, including:
Controls Engineers with 5+ years of experience designing building automation or process control systems.
Engineers with BAS, BMS, HVAC controls, building automation, or process control experience.
Engineers from controls vendors, system integrators, commissioning agents, or engineering design consultancies.
Engineers currently working in mission critical / data centers.
Engineers looking to transition into data centers from commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or other complex environments.
EITs, PEs, or engineers working towards licensure.
Engineers comfortable working with AutoCAD, Revit, control drawings, specifications, points lists, and sequences of operations.
You don't need to have the perfect background. Strong controls knowledge, technical ability, attention to detail, and a willingness to work on complex projects are often more important than direct data center experience.
