We are looking for an experienced Azure Application Architect to lead application modernization and migration initiatives, designing scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions across multiple projects.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Poland)
Engagement: B2B Contract
Key Responsibilities
Design Azure target-state architectures, migration strategies, and application modernization solutions.
Modernize and migrate applications from IIS/on-premises environments to Azure PaaS.
Architect and optimize solutions using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, and Azure Container Instances.
Analyze application dependencies, integrations, databases, and infrastructure landscapes.
Design architectural and UML diagrams; containerize web applications and services using Docker and Kubernetes.
Assess application performance before and after migration and troubleshoot Azure PaaS issues.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, DevOps, Data, Integration, and customer teams.
Provide technical leadership and guide a team of 5+ members while supporting approximately 10–12 parallel projects.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
10–13+ years of software development, application architecture, and modernization experience.
Strong expertise in Azure PaaS application hosting, migration, and modernization.
Hands-on experience with web application development and IIS hosting/configuration.
Strong knowledge of Docker, microservices, Kubernetes/AKS, and Azure services.
Expertise in software engineering, design architecture, architectural diagrams, and UML.
Understanding of database connectivity, application dependencies, and cloud migration pathways.
Proven technical leadership and team management experience.
