HR People & Operations Coordinator

Who will you be working with?
We are seeking an experienced HR Systems & Analytics Coordinator to join our team at the LH Group (a Division of Wabtec UK Ltd) based in Burton on Trent we support our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing trains.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00am to 16:30pm, and Friday 08:00am to 13:00pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
How will you make a difference?
The role will play a key part in delivering data-driven HR insights through the analysis, reporting and visualisation of workforce data. Responsible for maintaining accurate headcount information, developing HR KPI dashboards and producing management information, the role will support strategic decision-making while also ensuring the effective administration of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes and HR systems.
What you will be doing…
Previous experience in a HR Analyst, HR Coordinator, HR Systems, People Analytics or HR Operations role.
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting workforce data and presenting insights to stakeholders.
Experience maintaining HR systems, databases and employee records with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookups and data analysis techniques.
Experience creating dashboards, management information reports and KPI reporting.
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or similar business intelligence tools.
Experience with HR system implementation, optimisation or process automation projects.
Ability to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements through technology and automation.
Strong attention to detail and experience working with highly confidential information.
Are you an individual with the following?
Experience in an HR Administration, HR Operations, HR Coordinator or similar role, maintaining HR systems, employee records and confidential data.
Experience creating HR dashboards, management information reports and using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
Strong reporting, analytical and data management skills, with the ability to produce accurate workforce reports and identify trends.
Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contractual changes and offboarding.
Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and commitment to data accuracy and GDPR compliance.
