About the Opportunity:
The AUDIO ANNOTATION ANALYST role supports the research team by reviewing and annotating audio and video data to advance fraud detection, authentication, and deepfake detection technologies. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring data quality and insights that inform model improvements and real-world application effectiveness, directly impacting the organization’s ability to protect enterprises from sophisticated identity threats.
Responsibilities:
Review and annotate audio recordings, video content, and related interaction data according to project-specific guidelines.
Apply classification criteria to identify fraud indicators, authentication outcomes, and attributes distinguishing human-generated from synthetic content.
Maintain consistency and accuracy across large datasets, review existing labels, and uphold data quality.
Flag difficult or ambiguous interactions and collaborate with researchers to resolve them.
Support investigations by identifying issues such as background noise or unexpected model behavior.
Perform targeted reviews to aid customer inquiries and model evaluations.
Document annotation records and summarize findings to support research analysis.
Handle sensitive data in compliance with privacy and security protocols.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail with excellent listening and observational skills.
Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in repetitive annotation tasks.
Skill in following detailed guidelines and exercising judgment in ambiguous situations.
Organizational skills with clear documentation and workload management.
Proficiency with spreadsheet tools for data organization.
Effective written communication and capability to work independently in a remote setting.
