Power Transmission and Distribution Expert

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and supervise transmission and distribution infrastructure works at the project site.
Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, and contractor submissions.
Monitor the installation of electrical equipment, substations, transformers, cables, and associated infrastructure, as applicable.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, relevant standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
Coordinate with contractors, utility agencies, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
Monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
Inspect site works and ensure corrective actions are taken for any deviations.
Review method statements, inspection requests, and quality documentation submitted by contractors.
Prepare site inspection reports and provide regular progress updates to the project management team.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and applicable regulations.
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in power transmission and distribution projects.
Experience in site supervision, construction monitoring, quality control, and contractor coordination.
Good knowledge of electrical infrastructure, substations, transmission and distribution networks, and relevant technical standards.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
