Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Network Engineer role based in Surajgarh. The Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and related equipment. Daily tasks include monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving connectivity and latency issues, and ensuring network security policies are applied consistently. The role involves collaborating with IT and security teams to design and optimize network architectures, supporting upgrades and migrations, and documenting configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions. The Network Engineer will also participate in capacity planning, system audits, and the introduction of new network technologies to improve reliability and scalability.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design for planning, deploying, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure.
Candidates should possess solid Network Administration skills to manage, monitor, and maintain routers, switches, and related network devices.
Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve network issues, performance bottlenecks, and service disruptions.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Network Security to implement firewalls, access controls, VPNs, and security best practices.
Relevant skills such as familiarity with TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and wireless networks are beneficial.
Professional certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent are an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
