Quality and Insights Consultant

The Quality and Insights Consultant forms part of the Quality and Insights business area and is responsible for understanding the business’s quality requirements and supporting compliance with ISO 9001:2015. The role gathers information from relevant sources to conduct audits, analyse findings, and generate actionable insights. It also supports and maintains the standards, guidance, and tools that help the business consistently meet customer requirements and drive continuous improvement in products, services, and processes.
KEY OUTCOMES
Conduct business audits within agreed time frames.
Compile quality and insights reports that identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Assess and manage audit results, ensuring effective corrective and preventive action plans are implemented and maintained.
Attend relevant business meetings to provide quality support and identify opportunities for improvement.
Monitor quality standards and support business areas in meeting quality requirements.
Support and monitor knowledge and development models.
Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1–3 years’ Quality Assurance experience.
PREFERRED
Knowledge of and experience with ISO standards.
Experience in the healthcare industry.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
ACCREDITATIONS WITH PROFESSIONAL BODY REQUIRED
Matric or equivalent qualification.
Relevant diploma or degree.
PREFERRED
ISO 9001:2015 Auditor Transition Training.
Certified Quality Auditor certification.
Quality management training.
TECHNICAL SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE
REQUIRED
Root cause analysis.
Strong technical proficiency and the ability to acquire new knowledge quickly.
Ability to analyse data and develop, document, and review processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented, with a strong desire to help others perform at their best.
PREFERRED
Lean Six Sigma knowledge or certification.
