Baptist Medical Center Beaches is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) team on a PRN night shift basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
Provide comprehensive nursing care for labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn patients.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, postpartum care, and newborn care.
Advocate for patients and support individualized plans of care.
Document patient care accurately and in accordance with hospital policies.
Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition.
Qualifications:
Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
BLS certification required; additional maternal/child health certifications preferred.
Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Women's Services, or a related specialty preferred.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
Diploma nurses must have 5+ years of progressive nursing experience.
Schedule:
