Mechanical Engineering Intern

Job Description:
Responsibilities
Apply engineering principles and classroom knowledge to real-world technical challenges.
Assist with engineering research, product testing, data analysis, and technical problem-solving.
Support prototype development, product evaluations, and design validation activities.
Analyze product performance and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Contribute to manufacturing process optimization, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering projects from concept through implementation.
Assist with project planning, technical documentation, reporting, and presentations.
Support product compliance activities, technical investigations, audits, and documentation reviews.
Present project findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities to engineering teams and leadership.
Participate in hands-on engineering activities in manufacturing, laboratory, and product development environments.
Requirement:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
Foundational knowledge of engineering principles, design concepts, and technical problem-solving.
Interest in manufacturing processes, product development, testing, data analysis, or continuous improvement.
Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with CAD software, 3D modeling, and engineering design tools.
Exposure to manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing, quality systems, or testing and validation.
Ability to analyze technical data, document findings, and communicate recommendations effectively.
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $23–25.50 per hour.
