Role Description The BIM Architect is a full-time, remote role responsible for developing and managing Building Information Models that support architectural design and documentation. Day-to-day tasks include creating and refining architectural and construction drawings, coordinating BIM models across disciplines, and ensuring that design intent is accurately reflected in all project documents. The role involves preparing and reviewing submittals, collaborating with designers and engineers, and maintaining BIM standards and workflows. The BIM Architect will also contribute to process improvements, support project teams with technical BIM guidance, and help optimize documentation for clarity and efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Drawings to support clear, accurate design documentation.
Candidates should possess skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) to develop, coordinate, and manage digital building models.
Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings and Submittals to produce and review detailed project documentation.
Proficiency with BIM and CAD software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools) is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
