Job Description
As MDG-M and Core MD System integration FE, this role is responsible for the following:
Being a member of the Global Product Data team, delivering solutions and processes that drive Product Data Quality.
Creating data profiling analyses and interpreting results to support MDG-M Global Framework deployments.
Defining and executing central tests for MDG-M continuous improvement initiatives (CIPs) in preparation for regional and local testing.
Educating and training regional and local MDG Functional Experts.
Facilitating incident resolution with support teams through weekly calls and ad hoc requests.
Ensuring support team performance meets business expectations, with a focus on permanent root-cause resolution.
Collaborating with Product Data Champions on documentation and knowledge-sharing activities.
Participating in Global Product Data System Governance to provide business impact assessments.
Maintaining deep expertise in the standards and principles of the MDG-M Global Framework configuration and acting as the single point of contact (SPOC) for regional and local MDG-M Functional Experts.
Maintaining expertise in the technical integration solutions between Veritas, MDG, and Atlas from a business perspective.
Understand how MDG (Global framework)/ATLAS / S4 works, includes capabilities not visible by end users such as key batch jobs (representative item creation, GTIN generator,…), integration principles
Understand how the data flow especially how Veritas, cPLM initiate item creation in MDG, and how MDG and Veritas/cPLM play together to create a specification on one hand and a material on the other.
Understand business expectations on system delivery on MDG/ATLAS/S4 and look for standardization & harmonization
Job Specification / Qualification :
College Degree, preferably in a technical field
Considerable experience of Master Data Management or Data Architecture (including relevant collaboration experience) spanning multiple domains in a complex multi-national corporate environment.
Envision, model and optimize complex yet efficient business processes, data and workflows.
Demonstrated Leadership skills, with independence and proven management experience within a matrix organization
Background in the BI, Information, Data, Analytics space
Strong Business Acumen of the FMCG industry and the Product/Material area
Experience with Solutions Architecture, Applications portfolio management
Stakeholder Relationship Management of global leaders
