Senior .NET Azure Developer – Cloud-Native Applications – Open for European candidates

We are looking for a Senior .NET Azure Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, .NET, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps and React for a remote opportunity open to European candidates.
You will develop and maintain scalable, secure cloud-native applications and reusable platform components, working closely with architecture and development teams to translate architectural designs into production-ready software solutions.
EU candidates are welcome to apply and be based in Europe. Work permit is not provided. This position is long-term. Candidates need to be fluent in English.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Design, develop, test and maintain reusable architectural components and cloud-native applications;
Build and integrate backend services, REST APIs and microservices using .NET and Microsoft Azure;
Translate architectural specifications into scalable, secure and maintainable software solutions;
Support React frontend development and integration with backend services;
Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes;
Collaborate with architects and development teams on technical design, architecture reviews and component integration;
Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and application troubleshooting;
Participate in code reviews, maintain technical documentation and provide technical guidance to developers.
Profile
Bachelor or Master degree;
5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in enterprise or large-scale environments;
Strong backend development experience with .NET and Microsoft Azure;
Proven experience developing cloud-native applications, microservices and REST APIs;
Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, build automation, source control and release management;
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and container-based architectures;
Good knowledge of React and modern frontend development practices;
Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, distributed systems, asynchronous messaging and integration patterns;
Knowledge of application security, including authentication, authorization and secrets management;
Experience with logging, monitoring, observability, unit testing and integration testing;
Good understanding of Agile development, software design patterns and long-term application maintenance.
