Duties and Responsibilities
Perform a range of general construction related tasks as assigned; this will involve physical exertion, that includes lifting, carrying, climbing ladders and moving materials.
Help equipment operators, carpenters, subtrades, and other skilled labour as needed.
Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles, hazards, and debris.
Loading and unloading construction materials to work areas.
Support material deliveries and confirm materials are stored securely and protected from damage.
Responsible for completing and completing required project documentation, timecards, and photography in document control system.
Follow site logistics plans, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions.
Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, orientations, and required training.
Erect and dismantle temporary structures, fencing, signage and site facilities.
Promoting and demonstrating a strong culture of health and safety.
Qualifications
Completion of High School Diploma
Be open and willing to take direction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
Adaptable and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, within tight deadlines while maintaining safety and high-quality standards
