Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist who can independently own complex business problems, apply strong critical thinking, and drive projects from problem definition through solution delivery. The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-directed, and comfortable partnering directly with business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into actionable data science solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Own data science projects end-to-end, from problem identification and analysis through solution implementation.
Apply strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ambiguous and complex business challenges.
Proactively identify potential solutions without relying on highly prescriptive requirements or step-by-step direction.
Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and success criteria.
Translate business problems into appropriate data science, statistical, or machine learning solutions.
Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
Develop, evaluate, and improve predictive models, machine learning models, and analytical solutions.
Clearly communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Take full ownership and accountability for project outcomes.
Collaborate effectively with Data Engineering, Analytics, Product, Technology, and business teams.
Required Qualifications
Strong professional experience as a Data Scientist / Senior Data Scientist.
Excellent critical thinking and independent problem-solving capabilities.
Proven ability to take initiative and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Strong stakeholder-facing and business communication skills.
Experience translating loosely defined business challenges into structured analytical solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
Experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data analysis.
Ability to work with large and complex datasets.
Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to explain complex findings in business-friendly language.
