Ready to step into a leadership role?
We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Assistant Store Manager on a Fixed-term contract to support the new Merchant 1948 Hornby Outlet store. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to set the shop up, drive performance, coach the team, and deliver an outstanding in-store experience. This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about retail, thrives on responsibility, and wants to grow their career in a values-driven, supportive environment.
Here’s what’s on offer:
Role: Assistant Store Manager
Contract: Fixed-term until 23 May 2027
Ro stered Hours: Sunday to Thursday
Monday: 8:30am - 5pm
Tuesday - Thursday: 9am - 5pm
Sunday: 9:30am - 6pm
Minimum Hours: 38.5 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $27.00 per hour + bonus potential!
What your day will look like:
Running smooth, successful shifts and supporting day-to-day operations
Coaching the team on product knowledge, service, and sales
Driving store performance and motivating the team to hit targets
Prioritising exceptional customer experiences
Contributing to a positive, inclusive team culture
Supporting with store presentation, visual merchandising, and stock
