Back End Developer

We’re growing our engineering team at Hunar.AI and looking for strong backend engineers who love
solving complex engineering challenges, building systems at scale, and taking end-to-end ownership.
We’re looking for core engineers who can think beyond writing APIs - engineers who understand how
systems behave under load, identify bottlenecks, and build reliable, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems and services.
• Identify and resolve scalability bottlenecks, performance issues, and architectural limitations.
• Drive improvements in system reliability, fault tolerance, and availability.
• Optimize database queries, data models, caching strategies, and API performance.
• Design and implement distributed systems capable of handling high concurrency and increasing
traffic.
• Own technical solutions end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to production monitoring
and optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
• Collaborate on architectural decisions, conduct code reviews, and contribute to engineering best
practices.
What We’re Looking For
• 4–6 years of hands-on backend engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python with Django or FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of system design, distributed systems, and database architecture.
• Proven experience solving scalability, performance, and reliability challenges in production.
• Good understanding of concurrency, asynchronous processing, caching, and message queues.
• Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• An ownership mindset and the ability to make sound engineering decisions independently.
