About Us
We’re a Fintech50 company building software that is disrupting the wealth management market. We’ve dominated our domestic market with our SaaS offering and now want to replicate that success internationally. To do it, we’re investing heavily in technologists, from software developers to technical operations.
Our development team works in an agile way, on two-week sprints, and most of our business now runs on AWS. We’re urgently looking for a Data Engineer who has a passion for real-time data.
About the Role
This role is remote. We’re based in Central London and the role is remote for the immediate future, with occasional travel to our London office.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, monitor and manage large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines in an AWS cloud environment
Carry out data analysis
Reverse engineer existing SQL scripts
Work on data modelling
What You Must Have
Experience building complex data pipelines and ETL/ELT scripts
Extensive SQL experience
Experience with data warehouse databases such as Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery
Experience with Python
Experience implementing REST APIs
Business intelligence (BI) knowledge or experience
Knowledge of modern data engineering practices
Preferred
Knowledge of AWS and components such as S3, Kinesis, DMS, SNS, Glue, Athena and RDS
Knowledge of tools such as Terraform, Airflow, DBT and Harness
