Quantity Surveyor (Part-Time)

Job Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of project reports encompassing project status, budget reconciliation, monthly changes and forward-looking projections of final cost and value. Reports to incorporate all aspects of the project.
Liaise with all project departments to gather information required to maintain a current project status. As required challenge supplied data.
Assist with the preparation of projected Spend Summaries (cash flows) including updating projections to reflect spend.
Assist and oversee in the implementation, monitoring and reporting across all Insurance policy related.
Assist with the updating cost data relating to projects benchmark.
Assist with the preparation of funding requests to Executives for approval.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying/finance/accounting or similar.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of working experience; minimum 2 years of experience in the related field
Strong computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as strong use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations
Other Prerequisites
Strong MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Developing and maintaining effective relationships with project teams.
Ability to work within a constantly changing environment.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
