The company designs and supplies fire-fighting, fire alarm, and life safety systems, supervises their installation, and provides ongoing maintenance for clients across the industrial, oil & gas, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
We are seeking a Design Engineer to develop compliant, practical, and buildable designs for fire-fighting, fire alarm, and life safety systems. The role covers the full design process, from tender-stage work through to the preparation and review of as-built documentation.
The Role

• Carry out the calculations needed to support system design, including hydraulic calculations, pump sizing, fire water storage assessments, and clean agent quantity calculations.
• Design fire alarm and detection systems, public address and voice evacuation (PA/VA) systems, emergency lighting, and exit signage. Develop device layouts and cause-and-effect matrices, and complete battery capacity and voltage-drop calculations.
• Prepare design basis reports, shop drawings, schematics, and BIM / Revit models, ensuring that designs are coordinated with other MEP services.
• Compile material submittals with relevant datasheets and certificates (UL / FM / LPCB / CE), and provide the quantities required by the Estimation team's BOQs.
• Review and respond to client and consultant comments, technical queries, and RFIs, making drawing revisions in line with established document control procedures.
• Provide support during site installation, testing, and commissioning activities, and review as-built drawings to help ensure that they reflect the completed installation.
Job Requirements
• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, providing a relevant foundation for fire protection system design.
• 3–5 years of design experience covering fire-fighting, fire alarm, and life safety systems.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software is required; experience using BIM / Revit is preferred.
• Ability to interpret project specifications and produce accurate, clearly documented, and well-coordinated drawings within project deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and careful attention to detail when preparing, coordinating, and revising design documentation.
Added Value
• Experience contributing to the design or delivery of oil & gas projects.
• Knowledge of and practical experience with NAFFCO products and fire alarm panels.
