UPSTREAM MARKETING & BD MANAGER, DIGITAL HEALTH

The Upstream Marketing & BD Manager, Digital Health is responsible for driving the long-term growth strategy of the company's AI and software portfolio through market-driven innovation, product strategy, and strategic partnership development.
This role serves as the voice of the customer, market, and business opportunity, translating unmet clinical, customer, and operational needs into innovative software solutions, product roadmaps, and external collaborations. The position plays a critical role in identifying growth opportunities, shaping portfolio strategy, evaluating strategic partnerships, and negotiating business agreements with software development partners.
Working closely with R&D, Medical & Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Teams and external technology partners, the individual will lead market assessment, customer insight generation, partnership development, and new product planning to accelerate business growth and innovation.
Strategic Marketing & Customer Insights
Develop and execute upstream marketing strategies for AI-enabled and software-based solutions aligned with business growth objectives.
Identify unmet customer needs, market opportunities, and emerging technology trends.
Lead customer discovery and insight generation activities with clinicians, healthcare providers, radiologists, hospital executives, IT leaders, and digital health stakeholders.
Conduct market assessments, customer interviews, advisory boards, and competitive analyses.
Translate customer and market insights into product requirements and innovation opportunities.
Monitor healthcare policy, reimbursement landscapes, digital transformation initiatives, and AI adoption trends.
Product Innovation / New Product Development
Partner with R&D and Product teams to define product concepts, business requirements, and innovation priorities.
Ensure voice-of-customer insights are integrated into product design and roadmap decisions.
Support product validation activities, pilot programs, and clinical adoption planning.
Collaborate on product launch readiness and commercialization strategies.
Strategic Partnerships & Business Development
Identify, evaluate, and develop strategic partnerships with AI companies, software vendors, digital health startups, academic institutions, and technology providers.
Assess external opportunities including co-development, licensing, OEM, distribution, and strategic alliance models.
Develop business cases supporting partnership investments and growth initiatives.
Lead commercial negotiations with software development partners
Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, and R&D functions to structure partnership agreements.
