Financial Controller (m/f/d) - Nordics & Performance Controlling

To strengthen our international Performance Controlling team, we are looking for a Financial Controller (m/f/d). You will be responsible for the financial steering of our Nordic business and will also play an active role in divisional controlling and reporting topics.
Responsibilities / Tasks
Finance Business Partner for the Nordic region
Financial oversight and controlling of GEA Farm Technologies Nordics (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland)
Trusted sparring partner for local Managing Directors and the management team
Analysis of sales, earnings and cost development, and clear, actionable recommendations based on it
Support for the local organization in meeting its financial targets
Running and coordinating the forecast, budget and planning processes
Month-end closing and reporting
Active involvement in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings under IFRS
Analysis of and commentary on financial performance, and preparation of management reports
Ensuring high data quality and transparency in reporting
Balance sheet and P&L analyses in close cooperation with local finance teams and the Shared Service Center
Divisional Performance Controlling
Contribution to performance management and steering topics across the Farm Technologies Division
Preparation of ad-hoc analyses, business cases and management presentations
Further development of reporting, forecasting and controlling tools
Support for international projects that standardize and optimize finance processes
Participation in cross-functional initiatives on performance management, digitalization and transparency
Your Profile / Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field, with a focus on finance, controlling or accounting
Several years of professional experience in controlling, FP&A or finance in an international company
Strong business acumen and experience in analyzing financial KPIs
Solid knowledge of month-end closing and reporting processes, and a good understanding of IFRS
Experience with SAP and modern BI/reporting tools is an advantage
Excellent Excel skills and confident use of PowerPoint
Experience with Danish GAAP or other Nordic local accounting standards is an advantage but not a requirement
Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with international teams and senior management
Business-fluent English skills
Danish language skills are an advantage but not a requirement
