## About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Junior Cybersecurity Digital Evidence Analyst** to assist with reviewing, organizing, and documenting digital evidence related to cybersecurity incidents and internal security investigations.
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in digital investigations, security event analysis, and evidence management. This role offers an opportunity to develop practical skills while supporting security professionals in maintaining accurate, reliable, and confidential investigative records.
## Key Responsibilities
* Assist with organizing and reviewing digital evidence associated with security incidents.
* Help examine system logs, file metadata, and relevant security records.
* Maintain evidence inventories and document evidence-handling activities.
* Support the preparation of investigation timelines and incident reports.
* Help identify inconsistencies or suspicious patterns in collected information.
* Follow established procedures for evidence integrity and confidentiality.

* Assist with maintaining investigation documentation and case records.
## Requirements
* Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
* Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and information security.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Good written communication and documentation abilities.
* Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
* Willingness to learn digital evidence analysis procedures and security tools.
## Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with file hashes, metadata, timestamps, and file systems.
* Basic knowledge of incident response and digital forensics.
* Exposure to tools such as Autopsy, FTK Imager, or Wireshark.
* Experience completing cybersecurity labs, coursework, or personal projects.
* Relevant entry-level cybersecurity certifications are an advantage.
