This could be your opportunity to excel as a SHE Manager, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC’s continued success.
As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated SHE Manager to join our Central team, help support our growth and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.
With proven SHE experience you will provide effective health and safety support across a number of our divisional projects, ensuring compliance standards, legislation and company requirements, while promoting safe working practices and a positive safety culture.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
Able to influence safety, health and environmental results across the business affecting change and driving improvements
Be proactive and pragmatic in your approach
Team player working as part of the UK SHE team
Visible in all assigned areas of the business
Eager to learn and have a passion for people’s safety, health and meanwhile protecting the environment
You will be commercially focused adding value to the business
Follow the principles of continuous improvement
Mentor others with your knowledge, provide guidance, and support where required
To be a successful, you should be able to demonstrate:
NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent recognised health and safety qualification
Experience undertaking site inspections, audits and safety monitoring, and reviewing/supporting RAMS.
Experience investigating incidents, accidents and near misses.
Have an understanding of environmental legislation in regard to waste and carbon and sustainability commitment.
Management system experience of ISO 45001, ISO 14001
Have relevant on-site experience
At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
