Role Description The Project Engineer will oversee and coordinate residential construction projects at DRA Homes’ Vellore location in a full-time, on-site capacity. Responsibilities include planning and monitoring project schedules, supporting design and engineering reviews, and ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and internal teams, tracking project progress, resolving engineering and site issues, and preparing reports and documentation. The Project Engineer will also assist in resource allocation, cost control, and risk mitigation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining DRA’s standards of excellence.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, with the ability to apply technical knowledge to residential construction projects.
Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills for scheduling, coordination, cost control, and risk management.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for working with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders, and for preparing clear reports and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in real estate, construction, or infrastructure projects, preferably in residential developments.
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications, manage site activities, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site in Vellore on a full-time basis.
