Role Description The Billing Representative is a part-time remote role responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing for vendors, customers, and partner organizations. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and sending invoices, reviewing billing information for accuracy, and reconciling accounts to resolve discrepancies. The role involves responding to customer and vendor inquiries about bills, payments, and account status, and coordinating with internal teams to clarify pricing, promotions, and adjustments. The Billing Representative may also assist with basic insurance-related billing questions, maintain organized digital records, and support accounting processes as needed. This position requires consistent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage billing tasks independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Invoicing and Insurance-related billing skills, with the ability to prepare, review, and explain billing documents clearly.
Candidates should possess Accounting and Account Reconciliation skills to verify transactions, balance accounts, and resolve billing discrepancies.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries professionally, provide clear explanations, and maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers.
