Our Enterprise Value Creation (EVC) practice in Sofia is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Consultant to join the team.
Expectations of value have changed. The EVC team helps clients achieve sustainable P&L improvement, addressing short-term financial priorities while building long-term value for shareholders. We bring a private equity mindset to enterprises, and we differentiate ourselves through the rigour of our thinking and the humanity of our execution: we combine deep data and analysis with market knowledge, and we work side by side with clients so that value is realised and sustained.
Our cost transformation work helps organisations become more efficient while protecting the capabilities they need to grow – from gross margin and SG&A to third-party spend and operational efficiency. You will work with clients across our industry sectors: Financial Services, Products & Services, Energy & Resources, Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences, and Central Government.
What you will be doing
Work with clients to understand their cost base and margin drivers, building baselines and identifying improvement opportunities
Build financial models and cost analyses (e.g. spend analysis, cost-to-serve, benchmarking) that turn data into clear, practical recommendations
Contribute to the design and delivery of cost and margin improvement programmes, from diagnostic through to implementation
Track and report the value delivered, helping clients ensure savings are realised and sustained
Help clients build their own capability through knowledge transfer, so that improvements last
Work closely with colleagues across Baringa to bring the right expertise to each client
Support the development of more junior colleagues and contribute to growing the Sofia EVC team

What we are currently looking for:
University degree in Economics, Econometrics, Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field and/or experience in cost analysis, cost transformation, FP&A, spend analysis, or a similar area, gained in consulting or in industry
