Role Overview:
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analytics. With strong support from mentors and managers, you will be challenged to grow while gaining valuable insights into the world of Asset Management.
Your Responsibilities:
Support portfolio managers with trade execution, portfolio trades and credit default swap orders in compliance with trading procedures and portfolio guidelines.
Monitor public bond market, assess relative value and provide investment recommendations for specific securities that are aligned with the strategy of portfolios.
Participate in internal meetings with portfolio managers and research as part of the investment decision making process.
Work on innovative and creative ETF/index concepts in collaboration with index providers.
Building and maintaining relationships externally with banks, broker-dealers and financial marketplace counterparts.
Partnering with client coverage and client facing teams to provide commentary and discuss opportunities, macro events, investment performance and strategies with existing clients and prospects.
Requirements:
Financial modeling and analysis preferred, not required.
Strong interest in financial markets evidenced by coursework or relevant experiences.
Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Strong collaboration skills.
An enthusiasm to using technology and AI-enabled tools to improve outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (Word and PowerPoint is helpful).
Highlights:

Contribution to the production and promotion of thought leadership, content and marketing material.
Run product and market analytics such as wallet studies, product comparisons and peer/benchmark metrics.
